TECHTIK WAVE ESSENTIAL LTD, trading as Johgee Irrigation and operating this site as WaterTimer.ae, is the Data Controller for your personal information. We are a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15312978), registered office 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, United Kingdom.
Where we process the personal data of customers in the United Arab Emirates, we apply the standards of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). As a UK controller we are also subject to the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address.
- Order information: what you bought, a payment reference from our payment provider (we never see or store your full card number) and transaction history.
- Device & usage: IP address, browser type, time zone, and how you navigate our site.

We use strictly necessary cookies (required for the cart and secure checkout) and, with your consent, performance and marketing cookies. Non-essential cookies are only set if you accept them, and you can change your preferences at any time.
How we use your information
- To provide the Services: process payments, fulfil and ship orders, and provide support.
- Communications: order updates, and marketing only where you have opted in.
- Security, fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations, including customs declarations for your shipment and tax record-keeping.
Cross-border transfer of your data
This is important for UAE customers: your order is processed and shipped from the United Kingdom, so your personal data is transferred to and stored in the UK and with our processors, which may be located in the UK, the European Economic Area and the United States. We also pass your name, address and phone number to the carrier and, where required, to customs authorities so your parcel can be cleared into the UAE. Where data leaves the UAE we rely on your consent to the transfer, on the necessity of the transfer to perform your contract with us, and on contractual safeguards with our processors.
How we disclose information
We share personal information only as needed with service providers who help us operate — our e-commerce platform and hosting provider, our payment gateway, our review platform, and the carrier handling your delivery — and where required by law or by customs authorities. The carrier is selected at dispatch and named in your tracking email. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law (including tax and customs record-keeping), and we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy of your data in a portable form, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@watertimer.ae. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office or, because we are a UK controller, to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
